G4 Ti4600 card on a new P4 with PC1066 RDRAM, 21" Sony Multiscan E540 monitor, using 30.82 drivers. Normally when you right click on your desktop you can select "New" and then choose from a selection such as "New Folder", "New Word Doc", "New Text Document", etc. These choices are gone when I enable Nview. But when I turn Nview off they exist again. With Nview enabled all I get is the word "New" and "Nview Settings". When I click on New it prompts me to create a shortcut. This problem does not happen when I right click and select New from inside another folder. The correct choices are there. It is only when I select New when right clicking on the desktop with Nview enabled that this bug exists. Any clues as to how I could fix this or should I just forget about using NView altogether. PS - I might add that this is an intermittent problem. Sometimes I get the choices out of the clear blue when I right click on the desktop. But most of the time I do not.
