New revision of msi4400???

I rma'ed my msi ti4400 back and got back a different looking card. It is still a Msi ti4400, but the GPU fan on it is no longer transparent; it is now opaque, with a Nvidia logo on it. Does anyone's ti4400 looks like this? Is this a new revision, or did MSI just sent me some cheap oem/ review sample?

well, it says ver100. I dont know what revision it was on my previous 4400, can anyone tell me what they've got? I suppose ver100 is probably the earliest revision then =(

I do not have one, but I am sure someone in this forum can answer the question on Revision Numbers for you.

My 8871-TD is Purple with the silver hsf with transparent cover and it too is an 8871 Ver:100 and I know that mine is not an OEM board so chances are that either the Version number isn't representing OEM status..or you just got a board from a different run.

Purple pcb? that's cool. Mine's green, I guess that means MSI made several different versions then. Just realized that my GPU cooler looks exactly the same as the PNY brand (cept it has msi sticker on the fan), which I heard is also made by MSI. Maybe they just ran out of those clear fans.
