Hey guys just installed a new Rx 6800 after ddu and wiping windows and such but the gpu refuses to post anything even to bios but when installed my old 1070 ti it works
I have a ryzen 5 5600x with a b450 max tomahawk 2 with 4x8 ddr4 3600mhz ram with a 700w psu
There’s also a red light on my motherboard with cpu lit up but still works on my old gpu and no issues so far
I’ve tried flashing the newest bios and wiping CMOs and such but to nothing so far
I’ve noticed my gpu has 3x8 pin connectors but I only use 2 as that’s what it says it requires anyone have any clue what could be going on?

It will need all three to be connected

Just what GPU do you have none of the AMD 6000 series uses over 350 watts so three plugs are just overkill and a waste of money and a manufacturer gimmick to make it look like it is more powerful. As you get 150 watts per PCIE cable 8pin plus 75 watts from the PCIE slot so two 8-pin will give 300 watts easily and 75 from the PCIE you hit 375 Watts and the RX 6950 only puls just over 330 watts and would likely max out if OC to about 360watts
