New SSD not working on Creator 15m

I recently purchased a new SSD (Sabrent Rocket SSD) and have had difficulties getting the laptop to recognize it. When plugged into an external enclosure, I am able to format the hard drive just fine and Windows can recognize it with no problems. When plugged into the second M.2 slot on the motherboard, the BIOS can recognize the drive, but Windows doesn't recognize it at all in explorer, disk management, or device manager. Is there anything I can do to fix this, or is this drive not compatible with the Creator 15m?

UPDATE: After formatting the drive and installing it, the drive shows up in Explorer, but I cannot access it through Explorer without it giving me an error message. I am trying to reformat it right now because disk manager has recognized it after resetting.

The SSD may not compatible with your laptop, you can ask MSI about the compatible parts.
