Trying to create a new topic in MSI Global English Forum > Motherboards > MSI Intel boards > i get
Access Denied
You don't have permission to access "http://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?" on this server.
Reference #18.15131002.1549917795.32246e19

I was trying to advise someone with buying a new laptop but can't due to the same error. Wondering what's up? Interestingly I can answer here haha

I get the Access Denied message when I try to submit a Technical Web Ticket.

Work around: Instead of typing the Question on the web page, type the message in Notepad. Make sure the message contains a detailed description of the issue then take a screenshot of it.

Upload the screenshot then click Send without getting the Access Denied message.

Hi.

I have same problem, i try make a webticket because i have a issue with motherboard..
Someone  know how can fix it that access denied ?

What web browser (and version of it) are you all using? I don't face any of those issues.

I see.
I've let MSI know that this issue occurs from time to time, I hope they find a solution.

Okay thanks, but i have one motherboard which doesn't work, you can help me to contact with support with RMA question ?

Since you are based in Europe, you need to contact the seller and not MSI for RMA.

I'm also having this problem today when trying to post a new topic. I'm not sure if they require your account to have existed for a certain amount of time before posting?

EDIT: Using Chrome 73.0.3683.86 on Mac

It seems to be an on-going issue. We see it from time to time. Hard to say what triggers it, but we've been talking with the administrator to see what the problem is. At this time, we really don't have anything further than that to say.

Again, we (the moderators) don't actually maintain the website itself, just the forums.

Best we can really say is it's something with MSI's server.

As far as accessing other profiles, I'm not sure what all someone can really access. As a moderator, I have lots of access, but as a normal user, the most you can probably see is their profile and maybe what posts they have.

this is not normal.
Please check my roles or permissions or whatever there is on this forum that could restrict my actions.

The account is an MSI one, the forum does not have own accounts. You will need to contact MSI: >>How to contact MSI.<<

It's not a problem with the system.
You do not have the minimum required number of posts (10) that aren't under this section of the forum.
This is done to keep spammers and such from flooding the forum with PM's and other things.

Basically, go make 10 posts (legitimately) and it'll function the way it should.

Tried to create new post (third post here https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?threads/315117 i didn't find way to copy link to post) and it started to throw me to "access denied" page as described by TS.
I was able to narrowed, this issue, down to "equal" symbol, it was - driver ? using - and it caused error, for some reason. (in this example i used some similar char from charmap to avoid error)

Same here let's see if the number of 10 posts as a requirement is valid. But why isn't that stated...

It's happening to me as well. I was trying to get support for my notebook, now I can't. I guess they stopped me from annoying them :-P)
