Hi there,
I experience some troubles with my WIFI connection in my Nightblade Z97 and I am trying to figure out what causing it.
Problem is about constant disconnection with my network. When WIFI gets disconnected I have two situation which appear randomly where on the list with wifi networks:
1. is left only my network (all other disappear) with no internet access
2. all of them disappear
When I have situation 1 sometimes windows troubleshoot tool is able to solve it giving back message that:
- default gateway was unavailable
or
- there is some problem with adapter or access point
However when I have situation 1 and windows cannot manage it or I have situation two only option is to reboot the system to try again. Only trouble about rebooting is that you have to use power button as otherwise system cannot be closed.
I tried already a few drivers for wifi adapater, I reinstalled system and it didn't solve the problem.
Only thing which stays unchanged is a bios version which I believe some day was updated by miserable MSI utility updating tool. I excluded problem with modem as all other devices in my property have no problem, however I will try soon with some other modem.
In the meantime I would like to ask owners of this PC if you experience similar problems about wifi connection and what bios version do you have if not or yes.
please could you help me with this?
Thanks
Andy
