Hi guys,

I don't know why, but I have no noise suppression. Nahimic hardly does something, and it's a pain in the neck as no one hear me. Is it a known issue ? Can I do something about it ?

Many thanks in advance !
Greetings !

Is your model GF63 Thin 11UD?
Have you ever tried to adjust the microphone volume to higher level?
Are you using a laptop speaker or an external microphone using the 3.5mm port?
Try to check the microphone settings first and try to record your voice in sound recorder to check if the sound is low or not.
You can also try to use another external microphone to do cross validation.

Hi,

Yes, it is !
Well, the sensitivity is set to maximum. The point is that you hear everything. You can hear my keyboard and even my mouse when I click, but my voice is low and covered by the sound...
It's also the case in sound recorder. The sound isn't low, and I can hear my voice but everything else too(keyboard...).
I'm using the built-in microphone as I don't have an external one.

Yes, I know how to use it. Effects are on, but when I listen to my voice through Nahimic, I have the problems Iisted above. I have done several factory resets this year. It did not help that much.

Then, I think it is a limitation that this model works like this as original...
Kindly recommend to use an external microphone, maybe it could improve the experience.
Also, there might be built-in noise cancellation function in some of the software(e.g. Skype) that you can try to find and setup while using.

Hi @Vink I also have this model, but the recorded sound is not really low, I didn't even open Nahimic to adjust anything.
The sound from the keyboard and the touch pad would be loud for sure, but my voice is not that low. I can hear it clearly even when typing and speaking at the same time.
When I set the static noise suppression bar to noisy in Nahimic app, the vocal would be lower and the keyboard sound would be lower as well.

You can share the record file if possible, and export the system info from MSI Center. I can help comparing the drivers and the sound between yours and mine.

Hi
@Edric The software I use do not have this function. Besides, given the price of the laptop, I thought that there would be a working software for that.
@Abel Lopez I've tried that too but didn't seem to meliorate the result :/
How do I share my system info ? I can't find the file once I clicked on the button...

Many thanks anyway

You click the button in MSI Center to export the system info, and you don't know where it is??
If it didn't jump out a window to ask where you wanted to store the file, try to find the file on the desktop.
The new versions of MSI Center would store the system info on the desktop as default.
Would you please provide the record file before/after adjusting the settings in Nahimic app, and which software you are using?

All right,

However, given that this is a forum, there's info I don't feel like giving you, so I won't provide you vocals, unfortunately. However, I can tell you that I'm mainly using discord, and I remember back then that when nahimic was stopped (waiting for restart after an update), the microphone was just unusable (my voice was really low, and you could hear my mouse click and my keyboard). Now you can still hear that, but it's less significant. I guess that Nahimic doesn't apply in sound recorder...

I'm sending you my system info, but I have removed some info and changed some others that, I think, are not necessary for you to know.
Many thanks anyway for taking the time to help me.
