The product page for the RX6800 non XT gaming z trio clearly indicates that the card should have 2x8 pin connectors.
But youtube and comments around the net indicates the card actually has 3x8 pins.

Can anyone confirm what is correct 2 or 3 connectors?

Non XT
Radeon RX 6800 GAMING Z TRIO 16G = 2x8pin PCI-E Power Connectors
Radeon RX 6800 GAMING TRIO PLUS 16G = 2x8pin PCI-E Power Connectors
Radeon RX 6800 GAMING X TRIO 16G = 2x8pin PCI-E Power Connectors

The XT
Radeon RX 6800 XT GAMING Z TRIO 16G = 3x8pin PCI-E Power Connectors
Radeon RX 6800 XT GAMING X TRIO 16G = 3x8pin PCI-E Power Connectors

most Reviewers get XT ones

ok i see the Issue here.

there are 2 versions of the Card what the person there has is a Radeon RX 6800 GAMING Z TRIO 16G V1 that is just using a XT's Board and Cooler. if its the current version its only got 2 so yeah that is confusing.

Yes, you need to connect all power cables to the GPU.
