Don't use the installer. Instead, right click on the .inf file and click install to manually install the driver.Unfortunately, the fix was short-lived, the problem has returned and the operating does not see any trace of the wifi. The QualComm drivers can not be reinstalled because they don't see the wifi either. Or they can't deal with what they see. Hopefully a bios upgrade will repair the problem.
Will MSI follow in the footstep of ARM and dump Qualcomm chips?
Arm's licensing battle with Qualcomm just got a lot more serious

Hi Tim,I had weird issues with getting the Wi-Fi to work in Windows 11 Pro 24H2 on my X870 Tomahawk - I got random crashes/shutdowns a while after the system went in to standby. Analysing the minidump logs it pointed to the Qualcomm Wi-Fi drivers. After a bit of reddit/googling I found a fix using the latest Microsoft Update Catalog drivers - https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=fastconnect 7800 - the newest Wi-Fi and BT ones dated 8/9/2024 (for my Windows 11 version 24H2). I used the "MSI SetupDrv64.exe" file from the drivers off the MSI site, and put that in the same folder as the extracted Microsoft ones, and ran that to install them...
We need the cure, certainly the product was not developed with the intention of the user to reset the CMOS daily.Clear CMOS doesn't fix it?
