Nvidia Driver v616.56 Causes Display Issue for MSI Product

Problem Description:
After updating to the latest Nvidia Driver v616.56, the display on certain MSI product would stop working
Affect Product
MPG CORELIQUID P13
Stuck at boot animation, Unable to control display with MSI Center
MEG CORELIQUID E15 / MAG VIEW XPANDER 12 / RTX 5090 LIGHTNING Z
Black screen when switching to extended mode

Workaround:
Revert back to Nvidia Driver v610.88 and wait for update

All above devices had been tested with Nvidia Driver v616.92 and confirmed the problem is now resolved

Thank you for notifying us! Having just installed mine last night, I was scratching my head as to why the screen was not functioning as expected, heh.

GeForce Hotfix Display Driver version 616.86 is based on our latest Game Ready Driver 616.64.

This hotfix addresses the following:

• Intermittent flicker may be observed in browsers when navigating to certain websites [6673430]
• Fixed an issue where virtual displays could not be created after updating to driver 616.56 [6674464]
• Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) sessions may display a black screen after updating to driver 616.56 [668732

SOLUCIÓN MSI MPG CORELIQUID P13 LCD CONGELADA / PANTALLA NEGRA (NVIDIA 616.56)

Hola a todos.

Quiero compartir la solución que me ha funcionado al 100%, por si le sirve a alguien.

Después de instalar el driver NVIDIA 616.56, la pantalla LCD de mi MSI MPG CORELIQUID P13 360 dejó de funcionar. Se quedaba con la temperatura congelada, en negro o directamente no la reconocía Windows.

Lo que hice​

1. Volví al driver NVIDIA 610.62 o 88 (la versión anterior estable).
2. MSI Center volvió a detectar correctamente la pantalla LCD.
3. OJO con EZ Display: la versión 1.0.0.26 es la única que me funciona correctamente.
4. Instalé MSI Center 2.0.66 (no la 2.0.71).
5. Instalé el módulo EZ Display desde esa versión.
6. Después actualicé MSI Center a la versión más reciente, PERO NO ACTUALICÉ EZ Display.

Resultado​

• LCD funcionando perfectamente.
• Temperaturas actualizándose en tiempo real.
• Sin pantalla negra ni congelada.

De momento lo voy a dejar así porque ya he probado varias combinaciones y esta es la única que me funciona de forma estable.

Si actualizáis EZ Display a la versión nueva, al menos en mi caso vuelve a fallar.
