NVMe compatability

I have an Infinite X 8RD-040US with upgrade GPU 3060. I want to upgrade my SSD from stock to
670p Series M.2 2280 2TB PCIe 3.0 x4, NVMe 3D4 QLC.
Is this doable and a good idea?

Un not certain can you do a CPU-Z screenshot of the Motherboard details

But I would say as it 8th gen intel it will support NVME PCIE3X4

Yep that helps now know what motherboard is in it

And it is using a custom bio so could run into compatibility problems using more modern M.2 drives so make sure you buy the older PCIE 3.0 ones and not the newer PCIE 4.0


Although I had no problem fitting an MSI SPATIUM M480 PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 into my Intel NUC Skull Canyon that is the same generation as your CPU
