Is the Oculus recognised in the Device Manager. Have you tried pressing "Win Key + P" while it's plugged in. I have to say, I had major issues with my Oculus then I had the dreaded HDMI cable problem so I binned it and got a HTC. I have never been happier with ditching the OR. Sorry dude.
Incidentally, due you have spare batteries for your VR one? That I am trying to purchase but its a hell of a mission!
