It looks like newer gen Laptop does not have Optical Drive anymore. If you really want Optical Drive on a laptop then you have to go for old gen laptop. Which I don't recommend.
I would say buy a newer MSI gaming laptop and then buy an External Optical Drive.
sorry to bring this thread up again but, the only gaming laptop that I know of that currently has an optical drive is the GT83 Titan RG8. This model can still be purchased new.
Sadly many of these older features are sidelined in favor of smaller, thinner and lighter machines. I can see removing it because of this.
I prefer having a bluray burner on my machine as well. and have an external unit that works it's just not as convenient or as fast. My old Fujitsu T902 has a touch screen, card reader, Bluray burner, 5 USB 3.0 ports and a docking station for a whole bunch more. But sadly it's low res and older I7 3570 just takes to long to edit 4K videos.
