Since I built the pc and installed windows it updated drivers and shows a horizontal line and the screen turns black, I use DDU and it works correctly until I install the drivers again, I guess the problem is due to some driver incompatibility but I can't find a solution.

Are you sure it's not the GPU maybe? I dunno. That seems strange, if I'm honest.
What does your system look like? See : >>Posting Guide<<

I thought the same thing, but I connected it to the Tv, to a friend's monitor and it works without problems so I don't understand.

Board: X570 Aorus Elite
BIOS: mb_bios_x570-aorus-elite_f37d
VGA: MSI RX 6800XT Gaming Z Trio
PSU: EVGA G5 Supernova 220-G5-1000-X1 1000 G5
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600g
MEM: 2 x 16 Gb 3600 MHz Teamgroup T Create Expert
SSD: Western Digital Green WDS100T3G0C 1TB 3200 Mb/s
COOLER: Standard (Cooler that comes with the cpu )
Keyboard: Black Shark SIXGILL K4
Mouse: Razer Viper Mini
OC: None
OS: Windows 10 64bit Professional

I actually bought a RX6800XT Gaming Z Trio GPU but I am also having problems with that component.
At the moment I use the integrated gpu in the cpu on the tv.

I have the same problem, a temporary fix to at least use the monitor (if you NEED it for work/school) for me was to set the refresh rate to 60hz. I to have pondered on it maybe being a GPU issue, but I am more sided with it being a refresh rate display problem with the hardware. I myself have applied for a repair as I ordered it last year with a 3 year warranty, I would suggest you do the same unless you find anymore information out

Attached is my monitor doing the same thing, I own a MSI Optix G241

I also have the optix g272 27 inch monitor and bought it brand new from Walmart and it eventually did this I have yet to find a fix
when I sent mine for repair, MSI confirmed the issue is that the screen itself had overheated and fried itself, but they couldn’t find me the parts to replace so I got a full refund instead. I suggest applying for a repair asap as they take a very long time to get it back to you

What if I don't know if I have a warranty because it was from walmart?

I have the exact same problem with my G272. Mine is under warranty but past Walmart's return period. I started an RMA for it, but MSI wanted me to pay for shipping it myself. I was quoted around $100 to ship a monitor that originally cost me $120 so that didn't seem like a good idea. Did you have to pay to ship yours for repair?

I originally noticed the lines appearing while at 144hz. They slowly grew upwards on the screen until the point at which they now take up about 2/3 of the screen. I lowered the refresh rate to 120hz and the problem went away for about a month. But now it is starting to have the same issue at 120hz. It is behaving as if it is slowly degrading, which means eventually I will have an entirely dead monitor. I feel like I was scammed.

I've attached photos of my monitor failing at 120hz and 144hz.

Ive had this same exact problem on both my original one bought from walmart AND the replacement I got sent when I rma'd the original. Not worth to rma it again since the shipping cost will be almost 3/4 the price of buying a new one. Currently have to run mine at 110hz but everyday I have to fill the monitor with a blank white image to "warm up' the pixels for 10 minutes to stop the flickering and lines. Will eventually have to lower the refresh rate and keeping repeating the cycle

I'm having the same problem at 144hz. Connected to a gtx1660 over displayport. It goes away when I put bright images up, comes back after some time with a dark background. Goes away if I drop it to 120hz or below. Unfortunate.

Bro, me pasa lo mismo con un monitor AOC de 27', que solución le encontraste? era del monitor o el procesador?

English: the same thing happened to me with my AOC 27g2 monitor, do you know if it's the monitor or the processor? I use the Ryzen 5 5600G and at first it happened to me with 144hz, then I went to 120hz, now with 100hz the same thing is starting to happen :/

I have the same problem with my G271. Most of the reports of this kind of issue I found were about MSI screens, so I guess I'll try another brand next.
