Finally... for those who may concern... i finally see my screen turning off, including backlight. September 2021. I don't know what made it work, i've always performed upgrades of everything as soon as they become available (windows, graphic card, msi drivers and utilities...). At this round, it may have got the right bit. So far so good...

Why? I just got the expected behaviour without firmware upgrade. As I imagined, it was not a firmware issue in the monitor but a graphic card driver issue or windows driver issue, that kept DP port signal on, ignoring the off-screen event generated when configured period of time expired. Moreover, it's not possible to self upgrade this family of MSI monitor and to do that, need to be sent to repair center. I did, but, as i wrote in previous post, MSI support told me that firmware version availability is LCD panel dependent, that means, different batches of monitors may have lcd panels of different manufacturer, or, same manufacturer and different revision, and each device, identified by the s/n, has it's own firmware compatibility. For my MAG322CQR with the lcd panel, there wasn't any firmware upgrade and the v0.10 already installed is the final one.
