This monitor is absolutely the BEST 27" gaming monitor I have used :-):-):-). It doesn't lose any colors when viewed from different angles. Changed my curved monitor to this.
With Windows 11, auto HDR is easy and simple to use, and games look GORGEOUS in HDR and 2556x1440 🤩🤩🤩
I recommend it for everyone looking for WQHD gaming display. All my games got a huge facelift with this👍👍👍

-Monitor has it's own Gaming OSD program which you can use from your Windows :p

-Good refresh modes: 48 to 165Hz 😍

-Rapid IPS panel!!! 👏

- G-sync Compatible

-Good selection of connections
1x Display Port (1.2a)
2x HDMI (2.0b)
1x Type C (DP alt.)

-Own usb HUB : 😋
2x USB 2.0 Type A
1x USB 2.0 Type B

-Has subtle RGB on the back of the monitor

-The monitor stand is extremely sturdy and contains a passthrough for the cables

Nice write up, I have not dabbled in the HDR mode and am still using Windwos 10. I heard like you wrote that Windows 11 is just a one touch switch to HDR. That sounds cool.

I have had this one for a little bit as well and for the money it is nice gaming monitor. A little too much colour saturation out of the box but that can be controlled now with a firmware upgrade that includes sRGB mode. No issues to date.

Here are my Gaming Settings:
Gaming/Gaming Mode/User
Brightness 22
Contrast 70
Sharpness 0
Colour Temp Normal

My sRGB settings for normal skin tones:
Professional/ Pro Mode/sRGB and leave use the same settings that gaming mode uses.

I find the sRGB mode takes the orange tint off of the skin colours. Actually like the gaming mode and how it looks with games. I had to turn down the brightness though on any mode as it started bothering my eyes. lol

Hey man, do I need to update the firmware for this monitor to have the same user / game settings as you do? All I will use this monitor for is gaming, basically nothing else.
So I was wondering if the firmware is important for strictly gaming purposes...

The current firmware added sRGB and some other things. I would update the firmware to have have the latest features. In the end it is totally up to you if you want the latest firmware. Good luck.
