Optix MAG274QRF-QD not turning on after failed firmware update

I tried to do a firmware update on the monitor because the current firmware didn't support sRGB. I followed the instructions exactly, but at the end, instead of saying "Firmware and EDID update Succeeded Please re-plug AC power source" , it just said that the update failed. I closed down the OSD app, and restarted my PC. After turning back on, the backlight was still lit, but no image and the power button and nav button didn't respond. I turned PC back off and unplugged the monitor, replugged and turned pc back on, now the monitor wont turn on, buttons are not doing anything, no orange led on the power button.

Monitor purchased on Amazon through MSI seller on 8th of May.

What is the best course of action?

I followed the steps exactly in the "Firmware SOP" pdf, which are the same steps that are in the video. Up until it said the update failed, so I then closed the OSD app and restarted the PC. The monitor would not respond after the restart.

Updated Gaming OSD and FW with correct cable installation as per pdf, DP+ USB on back of MoBo, went into the Gaming OSD updated FW, got msg: "Succeeded Please re-plug AC power source" so did just that, unplugged and re-plugged the monitor, pressed the power button it turns on I see the white MSI logo real quick and turns back off.
is it bricked? any way to Hard Reset?
Do I have any solutions or pretty much rma? monitor is about 1 month old

1.Please remove pow er cord on MPG321QRF-QD around 10 minutes.
2: Please plug-in power cord on MPG321QRF-QD and press power button on MPG321QRF-QD.
Make sure power LED is ON on MPG321QRF-QD.
3: Please connect cable form monitor to PC/System. (HDMI cable or DP cable.)
Don't use adapter. Example: VGA to HDMI.

Had the same experience with my Optix MPG321QRFDE-QD.
Update ran to 100% then the monitor went black. Going into the pc with remote desktop displayed the message that the update was successful.

Power button is orange, when pushed it switches to white shortly. The Monitor flashes the MSI Logo then goes back to the orange power button.

The Monitor is currently on the way to RMA.

The thing is MSI sent out a faulty update and those of us who followed the directions on the pdf to the T have to pay the mistake,
They want to charge US for the mistake THEY did so we have to pay for the shipping and then lose time for over a week+ with no monitor, since they don't even have an expedited service like Gigabyte, Asus and others

Maybe Linus, Steve, Jay or better yet Tim that recommended the 27" so highly should know about this little situation.

I mean it sure sucks to be without the monitor for about a month (shipping back and fourth roughly a week each and an estimated repair time 14 days - lets hope for the best that this will be faster.
But to be fair the RMA process so far is fine. There was no charge for shipping and it was with pick up service. So lets see how the rest turns out ...

After talking to MSI through the ticket system, they suggested either to send it to their service centre and get it examined, which would take 48hrs + 10-15 days, max 21 days excluding transit time. Or if I preferred, to check with Amazon to see if a replacement is possible. I talked to Amazon's customer support and got a replacement sorted and I'm sending back the monitor to their returns address. This seems to be a lot quicker, but not sure what the chances of it being accepted are. Probably likely, given they have already started a free of charge replacement order. I'll update here what happens next.
If the new monitor still has old firmware, I'll probably just have to stick with it as its not worth using MSI's self bricking software.

Got the same problem. Just bought the monitor. Had problem that the sound was not going trough the speakers in the monitor so i thought a update might fix it and tried to install but i got a failed install and clicked the box.
Then i thought that maybe a restart would fix it but then the monitor just would not turn on again.

the pc recognize that the monitor is there if you connect a hdmi but not otherwise. But no image and nothing. No power button light, no rgb, and no ”welcome start screen”. No nothing…
