I was told the FW was pulled from the site.
As far as testing, my contact wasn't able to brick the monitor with that FW despite flashing it multiple times.
Some user also reported they had nothing plugged into the USB hub, so I think it clears it out that the FW itself is probably bad.

When are we expecting a new version of the firmware? I have my monitor updated to v0020 thankfully with no issues but would like to update to a non bugged one as soon as possible.

Ok, RMA deadlines for Spain? @Nichrome
Warranty is 2 or 3 years, check with the seller and/or the invoice.
Spain = Europe = service in Poland
Could be a week or two.
For Europe, you need to RMA through the seller as the contract is between seller and distributor, and between distributor and MSI. So as a customer you need to go through the shop who will then sort it out via distribution, who then goes through MSI.

I was updating the firmware from FW.020 to the latest 2022-07-22 build on my MSI Optix MAG274QRF-QD. Followed all procedures correctly. Still the monitor got bricked and never powered on again after unplug/re-plug. Did the RMA in India . Yet to get a reply from them.

Hello everyone, i just received my monitor and i was worried about the fw version comes with in and mostly about the sRGB mode. I haven't set it on my new pc because i'm waiting for a couple parts to come but i plugged it on my laptop (already spot a dead pixel) and thankfully the fw version is the 0.19. That means sRGB is in. So what about now? If i take the risk to do the update of the newest fw, what are the pros of it? What i'm about to lose if i don't update? I really haven't understand yet and i'm afraid of bricking the monitor so bad that i was thinking to do the no video sRGB mode instead of updating IF monitor came with a really old fw.

There are a lot of stories of failed firmware updates bricking monitors on this forum. If the monitor is performing like you expect then definitely just stick with the current version.

I should've googled some info before updating the firmware, now my monitor also didn't want to turn on after failed update.
Does anybody finally have a solution for this?
