Hi guys!

So, I got this monitor and in AMD Monitor settings I look for the Freesync check button. I find it and it says my monitor does not support Freesync?!
I've looked around the web to find a reason to why it doesn't work. Also on some sites Freesync and Amd Adaptive synctechnology is 2 different things?!

I have another monitor, Optix MAG322CQRV, on this monitor Freesync is supported and it is activated. (On the monitor in question it doesn't say Freesync (like is does on MAG322) on the information about the monitor. It says amd adaptive sync technology")

You can find my computer information here...
Computer information

MAG342CQRV Information
Monitor 1 information (Amd Adaptive Sync Technology)

MAG322CQRV Informa
Monitor 2 Information (Premium Freesync Technology)

Ok, so that means that it is correct to say that it is not Freesync? They are 2 different technologies?

Thanks!

Many sites out there with the wrong information about this screen saying it has Freesync, including Newegg (specs)... (which is the one site I always check for information, specs, customer reviews, etc, etc. I will keep checking it bcuz it is usually correct.)

And adaptive sync is enabled in the monitor (not the Radeon tool)?
Bonus points for you! :beerchug:

Adaptive sync is now on! (I thought it was on the whole time...)(Also slider in Radeon tool got activated for adaptive sync, and, this is also switched on now)
(it says as a description for adaptive sync "only works for freesync compatible monitors")

You learn something new every day! Thx!
