They will need to release a firmware update to fix this. Who knows if they even care, but in its current state, would strongly not recommend the purchase of this monitor.

The Xbox version is the same monitor but with extra stickers

I changed the power button to Standby and turned off auto scan for the HDMI DP etc and that seems to resolve it, will update. But I agree shouldn't have to turn off these features for this not to happen and yes the xbox one is indeed the same, it also has FW102

I'm having this issue now too. Had that monitor for a few days. My EVGA 3060 is using DP to this monitor and HDMI to a Samsung. The samung wakes up fine. This MSI monitor stays off and I have to try pressing so many random buttons to try to get it to wake up... WTF... how did this pass inspection?

Just updated the firmware to the latest version.

They now have three firmwares to download. Scaler, MCU and Joystick.

The SOP (standard operating procedure) is pretty poorly written. But make sure you update gaming OSD first to get the right button to update each respective component of your monitor. I updated the Scaler and MCU firmware. My joystick firmware was already the latest so didn't require an update.

Theres now a "premium" colour profile which appears to be an inbuilt ICC profile (not sure if its saved into the monitor but woohoo?). Will be useful for those with a hardware calibrator. I haven't tried it with my Xrite i1 display pro, but will do so when i have more time.

More importantly, does this fix the annoying wake from sleep issues? Testing now......

Didn't notice this change in the Gaming OSD, but where are you finding the latest firmware? As the monitor page still only has the .017 FW.

And where does the "premium" color profile appear?

But do hope this maybe solves the wake up issue?
For me the "workaround" wasn't the Auto-brightness, since I don't use that.

But it's that I can't have any other monitor plugged in alongside with this one without the darn won't wake issue. Before this monitor I had another 4k Monitor and then had my TV (HDMI) plugged in with it. Now with this monitor, I have to have the HDMI unplugged and it'll wake up. If I have it plugged in, or another monitor via DP, then the no wake up issue occurs again.

Also sidenote, but if you use Win10's Nightlight, seems upon wake up the dimming stays intact rather than going back to normal? Sorry to side-track it a bit.

Premium color profile appears in the monitor settings as well as in gaming OSD. It lets you select between 3 colour calibrated profiles. Appears to be saved in the monitor as well.

So far my monitor has slept 3 times and has woken up successfully all 3 times. It does take a little longer to wake up than previously, but I'll take consistency and reliability over speed.

Lets see how it fares in the upcoming week of use!

Guess I'm just blind to see where that is... but again, as you mentioned this may be due to new firmware update and not just from Gaming OSD.

As mentioned I'm still on 017, and that's what the site lists as well.

Originally was thinking new Gaming OSD allowed for it to automatically check for Firmware version, not just manually updating (from grabbing from site)

After testing this for a week or two now, monitor has not had any issues waking up from sleep anymore.
