Ordered MPG A1000G PCIE5 for a new build, missing 12VHPWR 16pin cable, gave me 2x of one I didn't need. Called Support and they won't help.

So I started about 2 months ago getting parts for a new board.
I usually order same brand for as much as I can.

I got the MSI Z790 Carbon
MSI Gaming X Trio 4090
And MPG A1000G PCIE5, one of the few atx 3.0 psus that I could find, back ordered for weeks, finally got one, still on backorder.

Today I get my final pieces and start to build.

First time using 12vhpwr cables, and was a bit confused. After some troubleshooting I can tell that MSI shipped no 12vhpwr to 12vhpwr cable, but 2x of a 12vhpwr to a (6+2)x2 pci cable. (was only suppose to be one).

So thinking this is a simple fix I call MSI support. I explain my situation and the CS agent acts like I'm lying when I said its missing a cable, saying thats not possible.

I remain calm, and explain how I got 2x of 1 cable that I was only suppose to get 1, and 0x of the other one.

He then tells me they wont just send out a cable, and for me to go back to the original place of purchase. Tells me it will only take a week to get it replaced, I then explain how it took me over a month to get this specific PSU and he didn't care. Told me I can RMA the whole unit to MSI in Canada.

I think its pretty ridiculous to RMA a whole unit for 1 cable.

I'm tilted right now, but this is not what I call good Customer service.

Update, called back and the 2nd CS rep is a lot more receptive and is lookin into ordering me the single cable. Will update.

Update 2: 2nd CS was awesome, he ended up placing me an order for the Cable. Told me it could take some time, which I am fine with.

Night and Day difference between the two reps. First one was combative and didn't seem willing to help me at all, 2nd one did everything in their power to help.
