beta BIOS for P35 Platinum & P35 Neo2 Series(MS-7345, PCB 1.1) ver V1.4B3:

Thnx BOSSKILLER.

I flashed it to give it a try. It flashed ok , system works but got one problem.
Whatever I do, every boot I get "CMOS Checksum Bad".

Is there any fix for it?

Hello,

Have you "LOAD BIOS OPTIMIZED DEFAULT", followed by "SAVE AND EXIT"?

Yes I did everything the usb boot utility says.

After flash I powered off the pc, took off the power cable , pushed clear cmos button on mobo many times.

Then power on, entered bios with F1 and then "LOAD BIOS OPTIMIZED DEFAULT", followed by "SAVE AND EXIT".

Reflash the BIOS again use the a same way

boot from the USB drive, at 1st screen hit "CTRL+C", then answer with "Y" when asked. Then type:
amiflash.exe BIOS.BIN /P /B /N /C
post back results.

This helped with "CMOS Checksum BAD" error I was getting.

But after this I got another prob. after I did "LOAD BIOS OPTIMIZED DEFAULT", followed by "SAVE AND EXIT", system couldn't start it power on and power off multiple times and then it boot giving a message said that overclocking settings have failed.

After some testing, I found that there is a prob with the "AUTO" setting for RAM. I put it to AUTO which sets it to 800Mhz ( as it shows under the AUTO) but the bios didn't set the ram to 800mhz but 1067Mhz. I manual set the divider to give 800mhz and now works good.

Hope this helps you for fixing this issue for the final version. I'll post back if I see anything else strange.

How do you find that Auto setup mem. freq. to 1067Mhz, if you can't boot?
Have you tried to bump vcore to 2.0V? maybe your sticks goes under powered and refuse to boot at Auto settings?

That happend after Clear CMOS? Or after Load BIOS default values?

Ok lets make it a little bit more clear.

After I did the amiflash.exe BIOS.BIN /P /B /N /C, system boot ok and I got into bios I did "LOAD BIOS OPTIMIZED DEFAULT", followed by "SAVE AND EXIT". After that system got in a power on - power off loop (It tried to boot but failed) Leds showed "memory detection Test Testing onboard memory size".

After a minute it managed to boot and gave me the error "overclocking settings have failed".

I went into bios and I set it the way i set it like in 1.1 bios. Saved & exit and got the same prob like above. I tried this a few times and one time it managed to boot and I got to bios. Thats the time I saw the 1067mhz.

This is the second time already, that I read about such behaviour.  A user in the German forum noticed that this seems to happen with BIOS v1.3 as well:

Maybe this explains at least a part of the problems with the latest BIOS Versions.

Yeah I was thinking of this too.

As it seems with bioses after 1.1 many people have issues which seem to be memory issues. As I have read many have managed to boot their systems with cl5 generic ram modules set bios settings and then put their cl4 sticks in.
