Both BIOS Files were released on Novemver 31st 2007. (Looks like there will be no v1.60 final.)

Well, I take that back as v1.60 (official) was released and is available at the global product site. 

Interestingly, all three BIOS files seem to have been released on the same day.

Don't ask me about PECI function.  Looks like the option/feature is still under testing.  Flash at your own risk and don't complain if there are problems if you enable that option. (If you do enable it because you can't hold yourself back, please report what happens.]

I can't download it from the german forum it needs registration and I don't know german :S

The P09-BIOS was downloaded about 5200 times in a approx. 30 hours and there was close to no user-feedback.  [Just for comparison:  This thread here was clicked on a little more than 1300 times since septemper] That is why we decided to offer downloads to registered users only from now on.

Hi,

is the "shutdown-reset" someone is refering in this thread the same that happen to me after I go over 370mhz of FSB? When reset (cltr+alt+del) insted "normal" reset it shutdown and then restart (as it do in double boot)?
(I've asked here: https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=113861.0 the same with some more explanation.

Hi all!

I tried P09 BIOS and it refuses to boot Vista under normal mode.  I can boot in safe mode though.  Problem seems to come from video card.  My video card is a 8800GT. I read somewhere that P09 BIOS had problems with that type of card?  Is that true?

May I ask where can I find a discussion on the performance BIOS?  I searched the web a good deal, but only found asian or german threads...

I have a topic in Overclocking corner asking for some advice on overclocking (!!) but this question is directly related to P35 modded or beta BIOS so I thought I was right to ask here.

So, what's up with performance BIOS they are released without any notes or discussion?  Heard they help OC 8GB of memory (which I have) is that true as well?

Who releases those performance BIOSes?

There is no special thread on performance BIOS Versions for your board in this forum.

Performance BIOS Versions are released by MSI but not for public usage. They are based on regular BIOS versions and may contain performance tweaks and adjustions.  Basically, they have BETA status and you use them at your own risk. If you have problems with a certain P-BIOS, don't use it.

Have you cleared CMOS with main A/C power cable removed from PSU after flashing? 

I read somewhere that P09 BIOS had problems with that type of card?

Where did you read that?

Is that true?

Not many users flash performance BIOS releases, it is hard to say if what you read is true or not.  The best way to find out is to try a different video cards.

Opened a request on MSI official forums to get some help from their techs.  The support person told me that my case has been sent to their tech guys in Taiwan to see what they can do for me...

Was this a way of telling me to get lost?  I hope not!  Do they ever come back with an answer from Taiwan?
Ever experienced MSI tech support team anyone?

I Just hope I get some help from them!

It means that the CPU temperature read-out for Q6600 processors was adjusted.
