P45 Platiunun -MS 7512 - AMI bios ver 1.6 dated 20-02-2009 - Socket 775 LGA Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400

I have this P45 board running well on WIN 7-64 on varies IDE HDD installations since purchase with no problems.

I did n new install on a 250 Gig Crucial SSD drive and did another install on a WD Blue 500 Gig SSD drive, both installs went well and Windows runs smooth on both.

BUT when I run Internet Explorer or Chrome I have problem accessing the internet - very very slow and erratic. Chrome continuing say internet connection is lost, then picks up on n page and display it then drops again. Its not the internet connection - if I then boot the IDE installation internet is working fine,

Chrome also installs with Arabic fonts and is right justified on the page even thou it is an English version that was installed - this is the same on both the SSD's

Is there a driver available to load with WIN7 install for SSD drives ?

or Is there a BIOS update to fix this

Thank you for your help !

Thank you, much appreciated
I know need to upgrade but bit of a daunting task at this stage - but is a quick learning curve.
Really appreciate your feedback
You're welcome.
I still have a working MSI P965 Neo + Core 2 Duo E6400 + Windows XP SP2.
A 15 years old system !!!
But that doesn't mean I keep the MSI z490 Gaming + Core i9 10900K as furniture ...
