This is a two week old mobo with an i5-750 and 4GB of OCZ mem installed. It is running Win XP SP3 and Raid Velociraptors with a 750 watt PSU. The cpu is cooled by a ZALMAN| CNPS10X and the system has been run for several hours in OC mode but cpu temps never got over 35c.  The problem started slowly, first I got several unexplained BSODs, then the mobo would not start immediately with the power on switch - it would also cycle like the OC button was activated but OC is NOT activated.  It would finally bootup after 10 minutes and run w/o a problem for many hours. Then the next cold start it waited 30 minutes to start and now no start after waiting hours.

I have tried clearing the Version 1.3 bios twice, I have swapped memory and video card with known good components - no change.

Currently the mobo powers up and shows all blue lights on for cpu power, but gives NO video display - no beeps, all fans and but the reset button does nothing.

The only components I haven't changed are the CPU and the mobo.

I would appreciate some help

Pat

Removed the AC power from the system. Once the AC power is unplugged, remove the battery from the mainboard for 10 seconds, place the battery back and boot with the system barebone. If the problem persists, try to resit your graphics card and swapping the RAMs around.

Thanks Jack and Joe for the reply.  I have done the BIOS reset and battery removal, I cant show you a screenshot or a CPU-Z display because the system wont boot nor is there any display.  I have tried replacing the graphics card, swapped the memory and PSU with know good parts.  I am going to try swapping the CPU and if that doesnt work - I guess an RMA of the mobo is in order.

Just my curious side. Can you let me know which other PSU you have test the board with?
