P55-GD65 won't post

Hi,

My system has been working fine for over a year now, and all of a sudden it has stopped working. It will not post, and beep error code I get is one long beep, and two short beeps.

If anyone could help with this issue it would be greatly appreciated.

Spec:

CPU: i7-860
RAM: 2 x 4Gb G.Skill
PSU: 530W Corsair
GPU: Radeon 5770 1Gb

Psu: corsair hx520w (18a on 12v rail)
ram: 2x 2 gb gskill ripjaw ddr3-1600 cl 7-8-7-24, 1.65v)
Gpu: power color radeon hd 5770 1gb

I've unplugged all hard drives, peripherals etc, so think that is it.

Your PSU is actually 18A per rail with a total of 40Amps over the three 12V rails, which should be sufficient for your system, as the minimum recommended is ~34A with your GPU, assuming nothing has gone wrong with the PSU.
How many power connectors are on your GPU, and have you got them all connected ?
Only add the bare minimum, i.e. only one RAM module, your OS HDD. Do a CMOS clear  >>Clear CMOS Guide<<
Then retry and advise.

I have the bare minimum plugged in, cleared the cmos and there is no display at all, which leads me to believe its gpu or psu, not sure which though

Try the GPU in another system and/or try a known good PSU on your system.
