I run a P55-GD85. Is there a technical reference document available for this board that has more details than the supplied user manual?
Specifically, I'm looking for the exact location of the temperature sensors on the board. Under Ubuntu 10.04, the 'sensors' package gives the following hints:
Temp1 - sensor = Intel PECI
Temp2 - sensor = thermistor
Temp3 - sensor = transistor
I think this information is coming from the detection of the f71889fg chip, but don't know for sure. Ideally, what I'd like is a .pdf reference document
that exactly specifies these sensor locations (and types) for this motherboard. That way I'd know what area(s) the sensors are measuring - RAM?
CPU? MOSFETs? etc. Such a document would probably save me (and others) from asking lots of these types of questions.
