P67a-G45 -- Windows 7 64 -- No Drives Found

New computer. I throw in the windows 7 CD and it says "No Drives Found". I have no Idea how to fix this? It's a brand new HDD.

Start by unplugging your PSU from A/C power and >>Clearing CMOS<<.  Then load "Optimized Defaults" in UEFI Setup and retest.

In case the problem persists please be so kind and provide full system specifications: >>Posting Guide<< and be sure to tell us which SATA Port your HDD is connected to and what its model name actually is.  Otherwise we can as well play darts with our eyes closed.

Thanks for the Speedy response. I figured it out.. HDD was bad, there was a clicking noise I wasn't hearing.

Ok.  I hate when that happens.  Also had that a couple of times already.
