Here are my specs:

P67A-GD65 B3 (bios v1.8)
i5 2500k
8GB(2x4) DDR3 Corsair XMS3 1600
GTX260 216
Teamgroup Xtreem S1 SSD 60gb (boot drive)
Win 7 64 bit

I have searched for a solution to my problem ,yet didn't find it so thought i'll post it here:

The MB ,CPU ,RAM and SSD where bought about 2 weeks ago brand new.

A few days ago i have experienced bad youtube/vimeo/(virtually all flash player video based sites) video playback (corrupted colors ,see attached image) ,corrupted images in browser (also a screenshot below) and artefact photoshop brushes (when painting in ps ,the brush showed similar to the youtube video playback ,random colors corruption).  I thought it's the browser (firefox 4) so i installed chrome ,same problem ,also in opera an IE8 so it's a hardware/driver problem.
At first i suspected a bad memory stick. I've tested them with memtest 3.5 from a bootable CD in dos mode ,in dual-channel ,individual sticks and in all ram slots. ZERO errors. The EFI memory tool also gave me 0 errors and also windows memory manager tool said there are no errors.

Now i suspect the motherboard. Another problem i had with the mb: it kept freezing in idle so i disabled all green-power settings ,speed step ,C1E and EIST which solved it.

I must state that i have no BSoDs ,no hangs/freezes/artefacts in 3d aplications and games, hdd played movies run perfectly fine and the pc runs ok.

I tried reinstalling my graphics drivers ,yet no result. No overclocking was applied to the system.

What can it be? I am out of answers ,google didn't helped me.

Thank you in advance.

@HU16E ,yes ,i've said that in my post ,bios is 1.8

@Bas ,i have no issue with 3d apps ,games and stuff ,how can the videocard be broken???

i had similar problem it was the corsair memory.
i switched to crucial memory and that fix the problem for me
i after googling i seen alot of problems with corsair memory and second generation i-series.

If one is available to you, I would try a different VGA. Use a utility like driver sweeper & clean the system of any graphics drivers, & then reinstall fresh drivers for the VGA in place. As mbjbdc mentions, trying a different kit of RAM may be the answer. I personally, have not had a problem with Corsair RAM on either a B2 or a B3 board, but that doesn't mean your system has to like them. :-))

Thanks guys! Appreciate your quick help!

The interesting thing is why didn't this happen the first time i built the system? It worked perfectly fine for about a week or so...
I'm pretty sure the graphics card is fine ,had it in my previous system (C2D E3420 ,6GB Adata vitesta DDR2 800 ,Asus P5N-E32 SLI) and worked flawlessly.
RMA for the ram would let me without a pc for more than a week here and i really need it for my work.

I'll try to see what i can do.
Maybe some other ideas?

Sry for the double post ,but forgot to ask ,would a bios update probably help? If so ,can i do it via USB stick from the EFI bios?
Thanks again.

Did you try testing the ram with prime95 (torture test) or memtest86 ? I have better luck with prime95 (be sure to set the torture test to use most of your ram if you go that route) but many use memtest86.

If the ram is not working right (or bad) random crap will happen dependent on where the memory is bad. It could be the ram in the video card but you seem rather insistent that the video card is fine since it was used in a previous system.
-
It could also be a configuration issue if for some reason the bus speed is out of spec for the video card - you could try doing a cmos reset.
-
It sound like you want a definitive it is 'this issue' and unfortunately the symptons you describe can be caused by many different issue. As an example I once had a display that would periodically show 1/8 vertical stripes. I swore up and down it had to be the video card but it turned out to be bad dac on the monitor :)
-
Anyways I would start by ensuring the ram is good since that is the most common issue but would also double check the system configuration (i.e, probably easiest to do a cmost reset).

Thanks again for the help.
The ram is fine at least from the tests i ran (see my first post) no errors appeared. Tested in dual channel ,single slot/stick individually.
I have a friend that has a corsair XMS3 kit like mine ,i'll borrow them to test the system.
I'll definitely try a cmos reset.

I must state that the problems (image/video corruption) appear only after 5-6 hours of pc usage, and are completely random ,sometimes 1-2 videos in 20 play bad and sometimes all of them play bad. Same for the corrupted images in browser.

Sounds like either heat damage has already happened or overheating is occurring. This also might be strain on the PSU because it isn't strong enough for your entire system? Just speculation right now.

If it isn't appearing the moment you turn on the PC and get to desktop, it is related to strain on the components due to not enough power or too much heat.

Sjay ,i have an enermax ELT 500AWT ,500W ps. I have also checked for overheating in idle and load ,everything is normal.

Ok ,update on the problem:

I had a thought to change my drives from the black sata connectors (driven by the Marvell chip) to the white ones because i thought the SSD had some problems with the marvell controller ,since all my apps that caused problems where actually installed on the SSD drive.

In the process ,i had to remove the videocard to gain access to the sata connectors.
Now i'm over 8 hours of usage and no errors/corrupted images or videos what so ever. So either the sata connectors swap or the graphics card reinsertion probably solved it.

It's not over yet ,i'm still testing it, so i'll keep you updated.
Thanks again to all.

EDIT: NOPE ,still the same! I just hate it that it only happends at night ,or at least after the pc has run for a while! Damn it!

If possible get some pictures so we can take a look for anything out of the ordinary.

Give us the 12v rail amperage rating so we can verify that it is indeed enough for your rig.

Try testing the video card in other systems, if you don't have another system try finding a local pc shop that can test it for you.
If the problem is reproduced on other systems the card is defective.

I have reset the CMOS ,and after 10 mins of usage i got a BSOD:

BUGCODE_USB_DRIVER

I have never ever got this BSoD in my entire pc life...

Just for clarification sake, the black ports are all SATA II & run by the Intel controller. The two white ports closest to the RAM slots are SATA III & also controlled by Intel controller. The other two white ports, 7 & 8 are the SATA III Marvell controlled.

Did you reset the bios before usage after flashing CMOS?

Obviously something wrong with the USB driver, perhaps the mobo USB driver?

It was already reseted to defaults.

I have never had a usb problem ,this is completely new to me.

Ok ,sorry ,i misunderstood then. Strange ,after moving them to the white ports ,they show up at boot ,in the black ports it always said no HDD installed/detected.

Ok ,so what now? it seems i jump from a problem into another ,lucky me...

That is just too bazaar! Sounds like the circuitry is crossed over. A ticket into MSI Tech Support is for sure in order here. Maybe someone else may have additional ideas for you, but this is beyond anything seen posted here before.
