P67A-GD65 board recognizes 1333 RAM as 1066

New setup interface is a little confusing to me... can't seem to find where to change the settings for memory.  I CAN find timing, but without changing voltage also, I get a blue screen.
I'm using Patriot 4x4GB DDR3 1333, but setup seems to detect it as PC3-1066. There IS the overclock option of 1600, but I can't seem to find the way to set it to it's 1333 1.65v native setting.  Any schooling would be appreciated.

That is not a native setting.  It basically indicates that the "true"/"native" specifications of your memory modules is a rating of DDR3-1066 @ 1.5V +/-0.075V [DDR3 industry standard]. Can you please take a screenshot of the CPU-Z "SPD" view, upload it somewhere and include the link here for comparison?

Also, please tell us the precise model name/number of your memory modules and/or provide a link to the manufacturer's product site.

I see on the box it is listed as "PC3-10666 1333Mhz".....  I thought 1066 was 1066, and 1333 was 1333... guess listings have changed since DDR3.

Yes. RAM is a learning experience these days. I see by the bandwidth your RAM is 1066 & 1066 chipped. 1333 is it's X.M.P. (overclock rating). Try setting manually in the BIOS 1066, 7 7 7 20, command rate 1 (or 2) @ 1.50v's (maybe 1.55v's) & see how it does. The other to try would be manual set to 1333, 9 9 9 24, command rate 2 @ 1.65v's.

Soooo.... I guess the motherboard option to overclock 1333 to 1600 might be out of the question here? Kinda burns me when ya buy RAM listed as 1333, and turns out to be "overclockable" to 1333.

Will the Overclock genie on this board auto matically jump the cpu AND the memory, or is there an option for it to just jump the cpu, and allow me to set RAM manually?
Also, do I need to set the eufi to "enable bios" to access the maual settings?  The eufi lists 1600 as the next level of overclock for the RAM, and I'm not sure it will acheive it if it isn't "true" 1333.

Your mem will probably never run stable at 1600 as it contains overclocked 1066 chips.
If you are able to run it stable at 1333, then be contempt.

Try the OC Genie and see what it sets your mem to. Once you have a stable OCGenie setting, you can save that as a user profile in the BIOS. You then switch the OC Genie off again. Now clear CMOS. Then apply your saved user profile and do manual adjustments that you feel are appropriate. OCGenie normally applies more voltage to the CPU and RAM than what is really needed.
