P67A-GD65 - CPUFAN always at full speed

Hello,

I have three Scythe GentleTyphoon AP-15 connected to CPUFAN, SYSFAN1 and SYSFAN2.

The two fans connected to SYSFAN1 and SYSFAN2 are perfectly controlable (0% ~ 100%) via BIOS, MSI Control Center, SpeedFan, etc.

But, the one fan connected to CPUFAN cannot be controlled. It remains at 100% speed whatever I do and wherever.

I had an Intel stock cooler connected to CPUFAN before and it was controllable (50% ~ 100%).

Is the CPUFAN connector only controllable with PWM fans or am I missing something?

You need a PWM fan if you don't have the 3/4 pin fan selection in the BIOS.
