P67gd65 Cant boot....anyone know beeps codes? MSI manual= useless

So after throwing my rig together I realized the XFX Black Edition 750 I bought was dead so I ran to Microcenter and grabbed a Sparkle 850 and now I power up no problem except I cant boot and Im not getting an image on my monitor. I get 2 different beep codes which is wierd......like a beep beep...beep (pretty quick) and then a louder almost alert like sound that beeps long 5 times in a row. Ahhhh so where to start? Help me out Ive been doing this all day lol ~ My specs are below :p I will be swapping out ram chips and slots...but till then Imma go eat some dinner so in the mean time if anyone has had this problem and has the solution or better yet any ideas feel free tell! All help and info will be very very much appreciated!

I dont know if im missing something, but where on that list in the link above does 5 long beeps say its a  mobo failure?
 
lol well from what ive read 5 beeps = a crapped out mobo ;) but i guess it could always been the gfx card ahhhhhh. Its pretty bad when you just bought everything new and already replaced a psu this morning :p
 
So for a start you popped in 4 X 4 GB overclocked RAM ? 16GB at 1600 is probably too much for the Integrated memory controller.
Do a CMOS clear. >>Clear CMOS Guide<<
Recommend you only insert one of those RAM modules in the first slot (closest to the CPU). Once you get into the BIOS, manually change the RAM speed to the native 1333. Manually set the DRAM voltage to 1,5 - 1,55V. Once you have that going, you can start with RAM Overclocks.
 
lol no no I popped in 1 ;) im just saying i have 4.......ive pulled the gfx card.....ive basically just powered the mobo and I get the same beep error code....I guess its the mobo or cpu? and I need all 4 rams slots to work so Im not going to play around with it just to figure out that I have one bad ram slot :p
 
If you need 16gb of RAM then I can only recommend you get yourself standard 1333 modules that support the native mem speed of the processor.
If you suspect the CPU, then remove it again and do a close inspection for bent pins and the CPU pads for imprints. You may need a magnifying glass.
 
I dont get the point of getting the memory @ 1333 regardless of what the speed if the voltage is the same it should boot it up at whatever preset setting that being 1333 even if its 1600. Ahh I dont know...I may just go exchange the processor and mobo 2morrow at Microcenter and give it another go....talk about getting a grip of dud parts :o either way im 100% its the mobo or processor but leaning more towards the mobo cause it seems to have a pretty big DOA rate :\
 
The SPD profile on the memory will determine the initial memory speed, timings and voltage. We have seen too many Ripjaws 1600s causing numerous issues with these boards.
 
Its pretty whatever right about now. Ive spent all day fiddling with this thing trying to get it going and am way bummed out i spent my entire Saturday to come to a conclusion that ive received multiple dead items...lets just hope not everything I ordered is a dead lol
 
Well luckily, the statistical odds against getting even 2 bad components with today's sophisticated QA systems is extremely high.  The odds against getting multiple failed components is astronomically high - like winning Power Ball in reverse.  Really, unless you made some sort of assembly mistake, there is nothing to worry about in that regard.

5 beeps are defined as

- No Console Output Devices are found

__or__

- No Console Input Devices are found


... in the "Driver Execution Environment (DXE)" (main hardware initialization) level of the Aptio/UEFI P.O.S.T. routine.

Your said that you "spent all day fiddling with this thing" but unfortunately you did mention what specific troubleshooting steps your "fiddling with this thing" included. Unless you haven't done that already please take the following steps:

1.  Take the board out of the case to test it on a non-conducting surface in barebone-configuration (CPU + heatsink, one stick of RAM in the first dedicated memory slot (see mainboard manual), video card, keyboard and power connectors (24-Pin ATX, 8-Pin 12V CPU and video card connectors (12V)).

2. Take of CPU heatsink, check for broken or bent socket pins and also inspect the contact pads of the processor for areas with either no, poor or douple imprints from the socket pins [use a magnifying glass or take a high-resolution (sharp!) picture with a digital camera and then inspect the pads on the screen].  Make sure that the heatsink/CPU cooler is not fastened to tight

3. try a different video card & keyboard

4. try a different PSU

5. try a different type of memory

6. clear CMOS after each hardware change



 
Ive tried booting with the very minimal already........and I always get the same beeps. I loosened the heatsink I looked at the processor and mobo pins ( I dont have a powerful magnifying glass unfortunately) but there was nothing visibly wrong to the naked eye. So all in all what other solutions am I left with? I guess I can go purchase some other items from microcenter to play the swapping game with
 
got another mobo *same* and some corsair 1333........same problem. So pretty much now the only thing left that I think it could be is the CPU :p going to go exchange that and see whats up
 
Is there something Im missing here? New processor...new ram....new mobo and still the same beep code!!
