I need to install OS from USB stick but pressing F11 during POST shows only the HDDs. USB detection in the past has been hit-and-miss (might work one time in ten) but now fails completely. AMI BIOS 1.3 110207. USB port reads/writes from/to USB drive perfectly in Windows. Can anyone help please? TIA

Try re-format the USB key with Rufus tool,
else if still the same try another USB port or try different USB key.

Thank you @Svet. It's the same with both a MS-created W10 22H2 USB and a Rufus-tweaked W10 22H2 created from the current MS W10 ISO. Both are 32Gb FAT32 and the same make (SanDisk). I have already tried both USBs in multiple USB2 ports without success. I will try a different make of USB key, via Rufus, and update idc.

also try using a smaller sized USB key like either 8Gb or 16Gb
and when formatting the usb stick with the Rufus app to create a bootable Win10 22H2 usb install drive, select MBR as the partition scheme and BIOS (UEFI-CSM) as the target system
because the P6N diamond board uses a legacy bios

I never use a 32Gb or higher size usb stick as a bootable usb stick for such old boards (maybe only in modern/recent boards or PCs)
