No, the only thing I could try here is taking out 2 RAM sticks, and only use the 2 I later bought. Altough they are from the same brand. same speed etc.
I'll try that in the weekend.

If that doesn't work, the only thing I can think off is a complete fresh install.

I also found https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforc...-freezing-at-unlock-with-4711147141471684719/ which seems a similar problem as I have.
Since your computer is starting to freeze at other times and not just when waking from sleep, test your RAM with Memtest86 (or another equivalent program). Be sure a run it through at least 4 passes. One of the tests puts the memory to sleep then wakes it checking for errors. It can often find problems missed by the built in Windows Memory Diagnostic.

Don't know if this was solved or not, or if anyone is still having these issues. I had the exact same issues, and pulled my hair out of my head trying to figure it out. I did everything mentioned here and more, but nothing worked. In the end, I solved it:

UNCHECK THE G-SYNC MODE IN THE NVIDIA CONTROL PANEL!

I have an RTX 3080 ti FE, with verified compatible LG monitors. The moment I unchecked the g-sync mode, all my problems went away!

Unfortunenatly with Disabling or even enabling (tried both). Still have the same issue.
One intresting fact, maybe it's not so related to waking up from sleep, but waking up from sleep is showing it better.
Let me explain what I mean.

Today I had even an freeze without waking up from sleep mode. The PC just had to brought back the picture.
I had energy saving on 4 hours inactivity. To prevent my pc being frozen after 30 minutes. But the screens should turn off after 10 minutes of inactivity.
So when I returned today after 1 hour. I just ticked my mouse and the lockscreen returned ( I have screensaver which requires to log-in at resume), but my PC was no way in Sleep mode.
But still once the pictures return it was frozen!
Friend,

Can you provide this information from your processor as in the image below?
Just to see where the problem really is?

Thanks.
