Please help identify the detail inside my MSI Bravo 17

Hi,

There is a cable above the left fan in my MSI Bravo 17. Is this an FPC cable, and what is its function?

I connected it incorrectly and caused a short circuit. Now the laptop does not turn on at all.

I need to understand what this cable is responsible for so I can explain the issue to a technician.

next to that cable is a silk Screen Mark of EDP1 so that is the EDP (Embedded Display Port) Cable and connects the Laptop Screen to the Motherboard to give it a Displayport Signal and Caries some very Spicy Voltages so do not be shocked if the Technician says the machine is Dead as if you shorted the main power Rail on that for its backlight to any of the Data Lines your CPU or GPU on the board may be dead.
