Please help save our Christmas

we got our son a desktop and it just flashes for one second and shuts off. Almost like it’s shorting out. The power on button also seems to be a little jammed. My son is so bummed this is all we got him for Christmas. Can someone help?!

We were having the same issue. We watched helped video and realized we had the cables in the wrong port. The cable from the monitor needs to go into the port on the PC that has a symbol with a circle and a P. Hope this helps!
