UPD: It resolved speakers sound itself, but mic is still broken and while any app is listening a mic, such as discord, audio from speakers is broken even when ai boost is disabled.
I believe these are different issues. I am talking about the one came with the update of the Intel's graphic drivers dated 30.05.2025I hope it solved it for you but I'm highly skeptical. If you get the time I'd recommend running a program called Latencymon for 2 mins and see if it spikes to Red. If it does, that indicates a moment when a "pop" would occur if you're running something with sound.
Could be, possibly? I'd only be sure if your unit can complete a run of Latencymon without error. The only way I can fix mine is by disabling Microsoft ACPI under the battery section of the Device Manager but then I can't see how much battery life I have left.I believe these are different issues. You are right - I have those measurements going into the red zone. And yes - there are 2 different issues, and one of them was fixed partially by disabling an Intel AI BoostCould be, possibly? I appreciate looking into that. MSI needs to get this crap fixed....You are right - I have those measurements going into the red zone. And yes - there are 2 different issues, and one of them was fixed partially by disabling an Intel AI Boost
Tried disabling ACPI driver but didn’t work for me. Don’t know what else to doCould be, possibly? I'd only be sure if your unit can complete a run of Latencymon without error. I'm also having this issue in the past few days with my MSI Claw 8. I've unistalled Realtek Driver from Device Manager and reinstall it from MSI M Center. Doesn't work. Even the Windows Boot Up Sound does crackling sound. It can be fixed temporarily with changing the output audio to something else and reapply the realtek on Settings > Audio > Output. The problem will then re-appear again when restarting MSI Claw 8, with Windows boot up sound crackling until you do what I just did again. So it will stay like this until either Intel or Realtek or MSI release UPDATED PATCH DRIVER! This is annoying despite manageable TEMPORARILY.
The crackling sound is related to the latest Intel graphics driver and the NPU driver, kindly recommend roll back to the version on MSI website.I have had my brand new Claw 8 AI+ for 3 days. Did all the updates fresh out of the box and now it runs and sounds like [***CENSORED***]. Awesome first introduction to MSI and there products.
