Power-on problems with AP272P All in One

I have a PRO AP272P, it turned off and won't turn on, the adapter has been tested and is correct, the hard drive has also been tested and is correct as are the memories, but I don't know what else to check.

Step 1.Please remove power cord on this system about one minute.
Step 2.Please re-plug power cord on this system.
Step 3.Please confirm this system can be booting or not after pressing power button on this system.

Not sure which Intel CPU you are using. I would suggest reinstalling the CPU, or trying a CPU from the recommended compatibility list, and reapplying thermal paste. Then, test the All-In-One PC again to see if the issue is resolved.

Hello all,
I also had this problem. Since I have experience in electronics, I always try the simplest things first (disconnecting power, holding the power button for thirty seconds, etc.). After several attempts, I tested the power supply ('brick') output voltage with a DVM - and it was almost 0 volts DC. Apparently, these "Chickory" (19.5VDC, 120W) power supplies - are subject to "tripping" into an overload state and the output falls to ZERO (as a safety feature). Once you disconnect the power supply from AC power, and from the load (the computer) - the 19.5VDC output returns.
Since I have an HP notebook with a 19.5VDC 200W power supply (but with an incompatible plug size), I used thin jumper wires - to carefully provide power to the my MSI All-in-one. When I did this - there was a surge, and it started up!
Interestingly, after this procedure - the original 19.5VDC 120W power supply was able to provide power w/o "tripping" to overload status. I suppose an AC power surge and/or lightening could have been a cause to this power problem / "conflicted state". To avoid this from occurring again, I will be powering down the computer more frequently (rather than leaving it in a "sleep mode"). I will also be unplugging the power supply when not in use for more than a few days.

Interesting finding. I wonder how many systems or PSUs were sent to the landfil because of something like this. Thanks for sharing.
