Prestige 13 AI Evo A1MG — battery charges to 100% despite "Best for Battery" in Battery Master

Hi,

On my Prestige 13 AI Evo A1MG (MS-13Q2, BIOS E13Q2IMS.10D, MSI Center 2.0.71.0, Windows 11 Home 25H2, build 26200.8875), Battery Master is set to "Best for Battery" (stop at 60%) and the setting sticks across reboots, but the battery charges to 100% anyway. It worked fine during the first months of use. BIOS 10D was flashed about six weeks ago.

I have already switched profiles and switched back, and rebooted, with no change. Screenshot attached.

Is this a known issue with a recent MSI Center or EC/BIOS release on this model, and is there any way to verify what charge threshold the EC actually has stored?

You can try resetting the EC. Power off, remove the power adapter, press and hold the power button for 25 seconds, then connect the AC adapter.
Cleanly reinstall the MSI Center following the steps in the FAQ-4147. Then try Battery Calibration
