PRO Z690-A DDR4 // Samsung 9100 pro M2 5.0 issues

Does this board (PRO Z690-A DDR4) support the M2 9100 pro with 5.0 or not?
I cannot find anything that says it supports any M2 over Pcie 4.0
I've tried to make this M2 work but no changes to the bios gives it 5.0.

Also, so I'm looking at the MSI Z790, and it only says 4.0 support, no 5.0.

The PRO Z690-A DDR4 does not support PCIe 5.0 M.2. For PCIe 5.0 M.2 support, you need both a CPU and a chipset that supports it and support that is designed into the motherboard; I doubt that a BIOS update will be enough.
