And i5-12600k as the processor? Damn, I have the exact same memory that you have. I guess my only hope is that I accidentally changed some XMP setting that is causing this, or that you don't have the same processor as me. Otherwise I guess there has to be a hardware problem somewhere?
I have the i7-12700KF. You could always flash the bios again. All custom settings are wiped when you flash I believe.

Same with me, i5-12600k and 16x2 corsair lpx 3200, almost time it's work with xmp but sometime pc won't boot. I must unplug ram and set back. Orginal bios, i keep waiting for new stable bios. :p

Ditto. Doubt it's hardware since so many having problems with DDR4 and XMP on this board.
I actually got it running at 3600 XMP with my i5-12600K stable. Passes all stability tests but has issues shutting down and turning back on will reset back to 2600 XMP speed. Have to go back into BIOS to reset speed. Shouldn't have to unplug ram to reset tho?

I have 12700k with Crucial Ballistix 32GB(2x16) BL16G32C16U4W.M8FB1, xmp working great on 3200 and than used "Memory try it" to push it to 3600 in Gear 1 and 1T mode. Works perfectly ever since.

I have that exact same board/processor and similar memory (ending in B.16FE, mine being Black dual rank and yours being white single rank) but have not tried beyond XMP. Does the "try it" 3600 keep CL16 and 1.35V?

Yes it keeps CL16 and 1.35V but other timings are a bit high 16-20-20-40 - I have to try to lower last one to 38 or even 36. Other than that "try it" worked ok, but be careful to choose Gear 1 and not Gear 2 mode.
I wanted black version but for some strange reason it was more expensive on Amazon than white (cca25eur difference) so since I have closed case, color is not really an issue :)

did the beta bioses disable avx-512?

I read that Intel forced MSI to disable avx-512 in future bios

I think they will remove all support for AVX-512 since Intel is forcing MBO Manufactures to update cpu microcode, so sonner or later we will be left without it. Or you don't update BIOS anymore and stay on current one which enables avx-512.

YEP was never supported or supposed to be with 12 gen Intel CPU.

Has the latest beta BIOS solved the sleep problem?

I noticed that under Linux the board sleeps and awakens regularly, so it's not a hardware problem...

MSI has reintroduced AVX-512 support for the MEG Z690 Unify-X. I wonder if their other Z690 motherboards will get the same bios feature.
My Pro Z690-A WiFi DDR4 with Beta BIOS 1.26 has the setting to toggle between Normal (newer MCU) or AVX-512 Trial (older microcode). Although I've confirmed that, I have not tested change (at Auto setting, my MCU is 1A).

Allow me to bump this, guys.
I run my pro z690-a wifi on Linux (no sleeping issues), but I need to build another alder lake pc for windows. I'm super happy with the board till now, but I need working sleep/awake on the next one.. If the sleep problem has not been solved by the latest bios, I'd like to know, so that I can buy another brand/model.
Note that on windows, I noticed that it suffices for just the monitor to go in sleep mode. It doesn't awake any more. That's quite bad.

Thanks.

Hi you guys, I'm thinking of buying the Z690A Wifi DDR4. At first I ordered an Asus MB with ram that is on Asuses QVL for that MB. Now I got the RAM but the MB is backordered. I looked around and like this MSI board, maybe even better than the Asus one. However, how important is this "supported memory" list. What are the odds I will get stable 4000MHz out of these?

If you'r going with 4 sticks than not that likely. As I have read best option is to get 2 sticks, in that case there is possibilty that you could get 4000Mhz in Gear1.

Hi guys. I run a Pro Z690-A with four 32gb memory modules. 128gb is the bare minimum for what I have to do, while ram speed is not so important.
More precisely, they are Kingston HyperX 2666 MHz modules, CL16.

Can I incur in stability problems? Should I manually decrease speed to 2400 mhz or increase CL to 17 in order to give the memory controller more headroom?

Weird WIFI Issue (Help!) I am using Windows 11 and have ensured all Intel Wifi Drivers are installed and up to date and Wifi is working e.g Web Browsing, Downloads (90gb at 12/13mb per second no issues) until I try to connect to any online game e.g EA Servers, CSGO etc it’s constantly trying to connect to the servers and always fails at the same point.

Additionally if I set my Display Settings to 144HZ my WiFi cuts and stops working completely until I lower the refresh rate to below 144HZ.

Any ideas what this could be?

Hardware:
Intel I5 12400
MSI Z690 Pro WiFi (DDR 4)
16 GB Corsair Vengeance Pro
AMD RX 6600
Corsair 750W PSU

I don't have the wifi model but I am having lots of video problems and now think it's the mb.
