I have 2 pairs of T-Force 2x32 GB 5600 Mhz DDR5 (128 GB total) in the motherboard. Fired up the computer today and while it turned on, the screens received no input. Also, no power from the usb slots was going to the keyboard or mouse. I saw the Yellow light on the EZ Debug was staying on, so I shut the comp off, removed all of the dram and then reinserted to make sure they were seated right. Same issue.
So I tried removing two and leaving dram in slots DIMMA2 and DIMMB2 per the User Guide. Same issue.
I moved the dram to DIMMA1 and DIMMB1. Computer turns on correctly.
Shut it off and switch out the dram pair but use the same slots. Computer turns on. So both ram pairs work.
I then updated the Bios to the most recent for the board (7E07vM7 released 10/18). Once done, I check to see if it reset the dram speed. Sure enough, XMP was off and the speed set to 4800 Mhz. Computer runs fine.
Try installing the second set. Computer stops turning on.
Removed the second pair , leave one pair in A1 and B1 again and turn on XMP profile 1. Computer turns on fine.
I'm concluding something is wrong with slots A2 and B2.
What is causing this? Would a CMOS reset possibly fix this?
Kind regards,
