Yes I can.
I fill up the form and hit post thread and get this:
View attachment 200521
Then when I go to any msi domain I get this:
View attachment 200523
For about 15 minutes.
Thanks
I made a test thread here (feel free to delete it):
https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?threads/just-testing.411027/ This works.
So something about the content of the thread I want to post is making msi ban my IP address across all of their websites.
This is the content of the thread I want to post:
Thanks for details.
Since I am able to create a thread which is not about the subject above, I have to assume that something in that text is offending msi's filters so much, that they ban me.
I do not see any offensive language there.
Is MSI banning me for reporting a potential problem with their device?
Merely inputting the text of the image above into the reply field immediately bans me as well. I do not even have to post it.
I can ensure you that this not intentionally and no one banned you and it's not any offending filter.
It's some weird forum bug that we noticed, I also got the same issue few days ago.
It's just kind of temporary restricted because of:
My guess: Something it's trying to access "http" contents instead of "https",
like we can see it from the error message and this cause temporary block for 15min like you noticed too.
It happens randomly and I'm not sure what exactly trigger it.
But for sure we will push msi again to fix it.
EDIT: I've tested your contents from your photo, wrote it down to text to try a to duplicate it.
And indeed some words combo in there trigger this issue for your case...
Think it's some kind of global domain protection,
but I don't think that comes from the forum itself..
If you get blocked by forum due some reason, or it's consents the forum itself will note you.
While we get server error directly here, and got blocked at any *msi.com for 15 minutes,
I guess there is some additional filter front of the forum as general protector for whole msi domain that's activated on specified words or conditions.
Etc.: This filtering and block do not come from the forum itself.
For your case: You can replace your original words of:
/etc../...shadow (without dots, cant write it in fully because I will get blocked too for 15min]
with this for example:
/etc--/shadow
and it will pass.
