Problem with not updating intel me fw

  • Hello, I am updating Intel me fw I am encountering the following error


Error 363: Update to incompatible PMC: The PMC instance ID is different, which may be
due to H/LP SKU incompatibility


I also contacted MSI support but they couldn't help me.


 
By the way, my BIOS version has been updated and there is no problem, and I even reinstalled my entire operating system once, but my problem was not solved.

This problem is really bothering me, can anyone help?



Motherboard model : pro z690-a ddr4 wifi

I have the exact same error, created ticket, and was told to short JBAT1 and try again, still the same. I think this is something that is specific to this motherboard version, and they are not able to fix it or have any workaround, which is very disappointing.

The guide in the end of that topic is not indented to fix this issue, (if already crashed to it)
but to prevent and avoid the issue at 1st place.

BIOS version currently installed: 7D25v1L

ME-FW version currently installed and cannot be updated to a higher version: 16.1.27.2216

Intel Management Engine Interface version currently installed: 2433.6.3.0

model mbord: pro z690-a wifi ddr4
