Hi,

I just bought the P55-GD45, the full spec of my PC is:

MSI P55-GD45 (v1.3 bios - latest)
Core i5 570
Crucial ballistix 2x2GB
ATI HD 4890
Coolermaster Silent Pro M 600W power supply

The problem is that the PC freezes when I install windows 7. I also noticed the APS LEDs are acting strange. The most number of LEDs ever on is 3, but often the 2nd and 3rd ones are weak or flashing. After a while into the installation, one LED might turn off or become very dim and this is EXACTLY when the PC crashes/BSoD. I have checked that

There there is two thing that is at fault here - the mobo or the PSU. I tested the RAM with memtest and everthing was fine. I have tried installing Windows 7 off 3 DVDs and also a USB stick, same thing. I have checked if the processor is placed properly already. I have tried an older graphics card too. Nothing changes.

I would like to know what is at fault? Also what does the APS LEDs actually do. Is the 600W PSU really not enough for the rig? Or is there a problem with the mobo?

Firstly check your memory's rated voltage, then set it in BIOS.If possible, increase a little memory voltage for a try.
