Yes it does. However if you want to use a Promise add in ATA PCI card, youll get best results with the Promise Ultra 100 TX2 or the Promise Ultra 133 TX2
the older non TX2 cards may be problematic. Some peopel get them to work - some dont
Also there have been soem reports of problems using a PCI ATA card and onboard RAID at the same time. Talk to Bas when you get a chance. he may ahve more details on if its possible to use both onboard RAID and a AYA PCI card
If all you want to do is add a Promise Ultra 100/133 TX2 to a non RAID system, then yes, you will be fine
