Hi everyone.

I have this PSU with Ryzen 7700 and MSI 5070 SHADOW 2X OC, working fine, no issues. I stress the pc only with gaming, and few hours per week.

I've just sold my pc for a friend, he will use for architeture, it's a different load.

He doesnt have a clue about PCs so I want to deliver 100% for him.

I assumed I would have no issues with this PSU+GPU because 650W is more than sufficent for the system and the adapter for gpu comes with the GPU itself, original by manufacturer.

Am I right? Or because of a heavy load, he can have issues with this transient peaks? Is it a big deal?

Your PSU is sufficient for the whole system so I don't think you should be worried about it too much.

Thanks for the response. For my use I am good, but the person will buy doesnt have a clue about PCs. It doesnt mean I understand that much, but I can at least troubleshoot some stuff.
And my use is gaming, no more than 10h/week. He is an architecht, its different, heavy loads for long periods.

A 650W PSU is the minimum for a system that has RTX 5070.
But I'm not an architect so not sure what software will be used and how much load it can create, if you are worried about handling transient power spikes, a 750W or 850W PSU is recommended.
