Psu question....

Do I really need a 1000w psu for the vga card to work?

Do I really need a 1000w psu for a 105cpu and a vega64 lc vga card and a 360mm aio?

Seems like it's too high a requirement.

Using x570 gaming edge wifi
Ryzen 9 3900x
Vega64 lc vga
360mm aio

The card specs can be found here

I Agree 1000W is Overkill for that class GPU as it only pulls 375W of Power so I Would Recommended A PSU for that GPU of 700W would be Fine and to be fully Safe 850W would be Great.

I Guess they Think that you will be Pairing that GPU with something Like a PC with a Threadripper CPU as that is the only way 1000W would be Needed.

as that GPU is Pulling 375W I really Agree that the PSU needed is High as the Nvidia Cards that pull 600W need a 1000W PSU and that what you have is way less.

Thank you, I'll go with a 750w psu 80 plus gold

What's worst that can happen?
The psu blows a fuse?
Or the video becomes unstable?

Worst that would happen is a OCP Event. (would just cut the power the PSU is making to Zero and just turn off the PC). just do not go Cheap on the PSU and you should be Fine.
