Question about Cubi 5 serial number

Hello, I would like confirmation that a Cubi 5 can display its serial number via software. I am assuming it can easily be done using the command prompt or the MSI utilities in Windows. From an motherboard in a PC and a laptop that I own (both MSI) I can easily get their serial numbers using the dmidecode command in Linux.

I cannot do it myself because the device has been shipped to a vendor in a warranty/refund process, it is an import without international coverage.

Just knowing that it can be done will help me with this process. I've requested this test from the vendor, but they have implied it can't be done.

Hi, This should be fine. As you mentioned, both motherboard and laptop (msi) can read the serial number through the dmidecode utility. The Cubi 5 PC also supports this. In general, the system's serial number is in BIOS DMI Type 1 for your reference.
