Question: What is a D-Bracket?

I am sure the question maybe elementary, but I don't believe I got one with my K8T800 Master2-FAR. From what I read this little device is the tattle-tale for errors.

If I don't recall wrong it's a small bracket with 4 leds on it and 2 USB-ports. These 4 leds can tell you whats wrong with the comp since they change color during POST.

OK, so I got a D-Bracket, now where on the MSI K8T800 Master2-FAR motherboard does it plug into?

I guess you don't..
I havn't studied my manual completly but I havn't found any connector for the leds atleast. USB-connectors is all over on this m/b.. =)
But, check the manual if there is a connector for it.

dont recall seiing the d bracket on any 2 cpu server boards page,my bet is it dont work with dual server boards

As you mention it Wonkanoby, I'm pretty sure you're right.
I don't have the greatest experience from MSI w/s & server boards but never seen a D-Bracket for any of'em.
